New allegations by Sedat Peker: Turkish Interior Süleyman Soylu has exonerated a drug dealer

Turkish organised crime boss Sedat Peker has revealed some new serious claims about Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu. According to Peker, Süleyman Soylu has utilised his authority and influence to exonerate criminal people who are close to him.

Süleyman Soylu is still a useful target for Sedat Peker. Self-exiled organised crime boss Sedat Peker continue to shake Erdoğan’s government. Sedat Peker has released new claims which indicate serious corruption actions most of which related to Süleyman Soylu.

Who is Sedat Peker?

Sedat Peker is an organized crime boss. He was on trial during 1990s and accused of taking part in mafia organizations and starting a gang. He was also arrested on May 12, 2005, and on January 31, 2007, Sedat Peker was convicted of building and leading a criminal organization, robbery and forgery and therefore he was sentenced to 14 years and 5 months in jail.

However, he was released in March 2014. After that, he continued his life ostensibly as a business man who used to have strong and close relationship with the ruling elites of Turkish politics until recent days. Nonetheless, nowadays his confessions and claims on his YouTube channel demonstrates that he has been in illegal actions since 2014.

The friend of Süleyman Soylu’s son was caught with 20 kg cocain, but faced no punishment

According to claims by Sedat Peker, Recep Köroğlu, who is a friend of Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu’s son, had been caught with 20 kg of cocaine. Soon afterward Recep Köroğlu was sentenced to 18 years in jail. However, Recep Köroğlu was released and faced no punishment despite his involvement in the narcotic crime.

Sedat Peker has openly implied that Recep Köroğlu was released as a result of Süleyman Soylu’s influence on the respective government agencies.

Is Süleyman Soylu a criminal?

Mr. Peker’s has recently claimed that Süleyman Soylu has been using his office’s influence to blackmail some businessmen in order to acquire ill-gotten gains. Mr. Peker has accused Süleyman Soylu and his family members of graft, bribery and corruption.

Ministers and their families have been officially granted some privileges which is quite lawful in Turkey. Süleyman Soylu’s family also enjoys these privileges. Engin Soylu, Süleyman Soylu’s son, was also mentioned by Mr. Peker during accusations toward Süleyman Soylu. According to Mr. Peker, Nevzat Kaya, a businessman in Turkey, had been using license plate granted to Engin Soylu who is exempted from police checkpoints.

Mr. Peker’s claims continues: “However, ten days before the nationwide narcotics operation, the license plate was canceled. This operation was announced by the main stream media as the largest narcotics operation in the history of Republic of Turkey, but even not small amount of drug was found during this operation. Why? Because this operation was not narcotics operation, but blackmailing operation. Engin Soylu had warned Nevzat Kaya days before the operation and asked him to pay 5 million USD so as to exclude him from the operation.”
